The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) aims to protect the personal data of EU citizens, including how the data is collected, stored, processed, and destroyed. The new EU regulation starts on May 25th, 2018.

To comply with the new regulation Atlantic Link has effectuated the following measurements:

Appointment of GDPR responsible

Atlantic Link Aps is a registered company in Denmark with the organisation number: DK25795881. CEO / Owner Ms. Karin Gert Nielsen is nominated as the responsible person to collect knowledge of the new data protection regulation, to follow the development and at the same time secure that the necessary measurements will be taken.

General statement of applicability of this Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy applies to our collection, use and processing of your personal data. In the process of compliance with the new EU regulation, your data has been thoroughly evaluated and identified. Atlantic Link does not store sensitive personal data of our contacts such as race, ethnic origin, political or philosophic orientation, generic data, biometric data, health information, sexual orientation or sexual and personal relationships or information regarding previous sentences and criminal offence. The database thus only contains publicly accessible information.

Furthermore our collection contains exclusively data of our various partners in order to fulfil our mission, as Atlantic Link ApS is the leading full-service representation agency in Scandinavia and Finland. Atlantic Link ApS provide trade development and strategic marketing planning for travel and tourism businesses worldwide. With our industry experience, market knowledge and highly professional team, we increase sales, visitation and secure valuable media exposure for our clients in Scandinavia and Finland. According to the EU regulation you wil have new rights. Those rights include: The right to be informed, the right of access, the right to rectification, the right to erasure, the right to restrict processing, the right to data portability, the right to object and rights in relation to automated decision making and profiling).

Furthermore you wil have the rights to complain to Danish Data Protection Agency.
