Nordic foodie influencers in Philadelphia 

OBJECTIVES

As the social media landscape continues to evolve, influencers have become powerful storytellers and essential partners in destination marketing. Their ability to engage and inspire audiences makes influencer collaborations a highly effective and cost-efficient strategy. For our client, the Philadelphia Convention & Visitors Bureau, we set out to boost awareness and interest in Philadelphia among Nordic travelers. With Philadelphia being named one of the world’s top food cities in 2024, we saw an ideal opportunity to tap into this recognition and position the city as a must-visit culinary destination.

SOLUTION

To highlight Philadelphia’s food scene, we curated a culinary-themed influencer trip with three Nordic food creators: @jondanieledlund (Denmark), @hillevi_arkel (Sweden), and @malinmellowno (Norway). From local food markets and iconic cheesesteak spots to fine dining and cookie labs, the influencers experienced the city’s full culinary spectrum. Their authentic and engaging content showcased Philadelphia’s many flavors to their audiences across the Nordics, generating strong destination exposure and inspiring future travel.
