OBJECTIVES

Valle d’Aosta – the smallest region in Italy – has some of the most beautiful mountain ranges in Europe, and the world deserves to know! With that in mind, we set out to increase awareness and interest in the region among Nordic travelers. With Aosta Valley offering a rare blend of beautiful Alpine scenery, gastronomy, and wellness experiences, we identified an opportunity to position the destination on social media via influencers as the perfect destination for travelers seeking authentic Italian vibes with mountains, food, and relaxation.

SOLUTION

To market Valle d’Aosta, we invited influencers @snackstoshare (Sweden), @kiraengelke (Denmark), and @nikolineanundsen (Norway) to the region for content creation and exploration. The group got to experience local cheeses and cured meat as well as local wine. They also experienced breathtaking hikes and biking trips with stunning views. Their engaging and inspirational content reached a large audience and generated high-quality destination exposure and inspiring storytelling positioning Valle d’Aosta as a must-visit destination.
