PR partnership between Norwegian Cruise Line and Atlantic Link brings home award as ‘Best Cruise Line’
Copenhagen, October 3, 2019 – Norwegian Cruise Line (NCL) has officially been voted as “Best Cruise Line” by a consumer poll at this year’s Danish Travel Awards, which took place in Copenhagen last night.
In September last year, Norwegian Cruise Line partnered up with Karin Gert Nielsen and Atlantic Link. The purpose was to impact NCL’s position on the Scandinavian market including Finland by adding a PR and marketing branch to the existing sales activities, thereby, creating a stronger presence.
One year later, the partnership is off to a strong start and the fruit of their labor is already showing. Last night, NCL won the prestigious award as “Best Cruise Line” at Danish Travel Awards 2019 for the first time ever.
“The past year has been an interesting journey with NCL, and more than anything, it’s been a clear testament to the power of strategic PR and marketing efforts. Our primary objective for the past year has been to increase the overall brand awareness of NCL in Scandinavia. To receive a consumer acknowledgment, like the one we received last night, just proves, that we have achieved exactly that in record time,” says Karin Gert Nielsen, Managing Director and CEO of Atlantic Link.
The Danish Travel Awards are organized annually by STANDBY.dk and Travelmedia Nordic and were attended by 400 guests from all corners of the Danish travel industry.
