Getting to Mammoth Lakes is easy!
New this season: United Airlines is flying to Mammoth Lakes via the Eastern Sierra Regional Airport (BIH) in Bishop. The move to Bishop opens the door for expanded flight routes and even easier access to Mammoth Lakes. Connect from anywhere in the U.S. or fly direct from LAX, SFO or DEN. Regional flights from Burbank (BUR), Hawthorne (HHR) and Carlsbad (CLD) are available directly to the Mammoth Yosemite Airport (MMH) in Mammoth Lakes via Advanced Airlines.
Construction Projects Trigger Summer Yosemite Vehicle Reservations System
The National Park Service has announced that a temporary vehicle reservation system will be put in place for the summer of 2022 between May 20 and September 30. Unlike previous years, this is not because of COVID-19, but due to construction projects in Yosemite National Park. This means that the restrictions will only be required during the peak visitation periods – from 6 am to 4 pm. Outside those times, you can still visit the park without a vehicle reservation/day-use pass this year.

• Reservations will be available on Recreation.gov beginning on March 23rd, 2022 for all dates through September.
• Additional passes will be released 7 days prior to arrival.
• Or, arrive before 6 a.m. or after 4 p.m. daily for early or late entry without a reservation required.
• There are other options, including using YARTS public transportation or utilizing one of the many private tour options, none of which require a personal vehicle.

Virtual Workshops
Yosemite Mariposa County Tourism Bureau and the Mariposa County Chamber of Commerce are pleased to announce several no-cost virtual workshops for businesses in mid-March 2022.

As more and more people utilize digital listings to find places to stay, shop, and dine, these business listings are essential . According to a 2019 study, a whopping 90+% of travelers utilize Google at some point during their travel planning and 74% of those searches utilize Google content. Google business profiles are a huge part of how people look for business information (hours, directions, etc.). When was the last time you updated your Google Business listing?
