Travel confidence continues to grow all over the world. In Scandinavia and Finland large parts of the population have been vaccinated, restrictions are being lifted, and travel intent and confidence improves by the day. We are ready for new adventures and experiences outside our region!

WHY INVEST IN SCANDINAVIA & FINLAND?

For years USA has been the #1 long-haul destination for Scandinavians and Finns to explore. And with over 1.5 million visitors annually (pre pandemic) it is so incredibly important to bring the visitors from this region back! Scandinavians and Finns are known to spend more and stay longer than visitors from other international markets – so it is time to make the U.S. a preferred destination to visit again!
TRADE & MEDIA OUTREACH
We develop localized content and distribute news and press releases to our database of 8,000 trade and 3,000 media contacts across the region. We send out dedicated newsletters as well as shared newsletters and provide detailed send-out reports of delivery rate, open rate and click to open rate.
EDUCATIONAL WEBINARS
We are experienced in hosting webinars for the travel trade in our region. We develop content, design invitations and market it to our database of 8,000 trade contacts. We run the webinar professionally and send out a feedback survey to participants. We provide a feedback report and participant list after the webinar.
CONTENT PLACEMENT
We work closely with content managers to ensure online visibility for our clients on tour operator websites. We measure the results by analyzing OTA, travel agency, charter operator and tour operator websites in the marketplace.
FAM TRIPS
We have years of experience organizing and executing group FAMs for travel trade, and with cooperating with industry partners to maximize ROI. We select the right participants and provide them with a detailed program, collect data using surveys and provide a feedback report.
SOCIAL MEDIA MANAGEMENT
We manage social media channels and build social media strategies with strong focus on engagement through localized content. We analyze results and social media metrics and constantly adapt our social media strategy to meet targets. We implement strategies, monitor and track the conversations and offer full community management.
MARKET INSIGHT REPORTS
A successful market entry strategy requires having the right insights about the market. We conduct extensive research of the trade and media landscape to be ahead of trends, challenges and opportunities. After two decades of working seamlessly with the travel trade and media in our region, we know the market and the Scandinavian travelers.
ONLINE SALES ACTIVATIONS
We create online sales activations such as educational competitions and promotions of clients’ online training programs to our database of 8,000 trade contacts across the region.
CO-OP CAMPAIGNS
We are experienced in executing cooperative marketing activities with tour operators, OTAs and airlines to increase awareness and visitation. We negotiate the terms with our local partners and develop content and messaging for the campaigns. We set clear KPI’s and follow up with a post-report.
USA TRAVEL SHOW RETURNS IN NOVEMBER

Join us on a full day in Copenhagen on November 1st, at the newly opened hotel Villa Copenhagen where Nordic travel professionals and media meet with American hotels, airlines, car rental companies, attractions, receptive operators and many more.

ABOUT USA TRAVEL SHOW
Launched in 2012 – and only grown since then – USA Travel Show is the premier opportunity for U.S. destinations and hospitality brands to meet face to face with the Scandinavian travel trade and media. The annual show is organized and executed by Atlantic Link on behalf of Discover America. Strategic partners include Brand USA and U.S. Travel Association. The comprehensive full-day event entails a B2B workshop, Nordic market update, press conferences, one-on-one meetings, and plenty of opportunities to network and do business.
