Dear Travel Partner,

At the outset, thank you for your longstanding support and patronage to The Indian Hotels Company Limited. We greatly value our association with your organisation, and on behalf of IHCL we take this opportunity to assure you that the safety and wellbeing of our Guests and Associates is of paramount importance to us.

As the situation around the novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) continues to evolve, we are constantly monitoring updates from the World Health Organization and all local Government authorities, in countries where our hotels operate. In light of the current situation we have implemented the following additional precautionary hygiene measures across our hotels based on the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare advisory and guidelines for prevention and transmission:

■ Training at all hotels to sensitise associates to the protocol prescribed by Government authorities for personal hygiene and COVID 19.

■ Repeated surface cleaning and sanitization of all areas, including increased access to alcohol-based hand sanitizers at prominent locations.

At IHCL, we believe in having an informed, attentive and careful approach, and while we take our responsibility of ensuring your safety very seriously, we also understand the need for increased flexibility at this time. In order to assist our guests, for all bookings up to 30 April 2020, at all Taj, Vivanta and SeleQtions hotels, we will waive cancellation fees and allow cancellations of all bookings up to 24 hours prior to arrival. This will apply for ALL bookings made directly or through a Travel partner. For any FIT or group booking, we would of course like to work together with you to try to postpone any bookings to a later date.

This is a continuously fluid situation and we truly believe that this difficult period will pass and we will emerge strong as ever. Until then we as an industry need to stand together and support one another. We would really like to count on your unstinting support and appreciate your partnership at this time.
